Nehemiah Kids

“Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in[b] the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all that I have commanded you. And behold, I am with you always, to the end of the age.” Matthew 28:19-20

Nehemiah was the cupbearer at the court of King Artaxerxes. Before Nehemiah became a leader of the people of Israel, he was a servant to the king. He served the king faithfully. As a result of his faithfulness, the king allowed Nehemiah to leave his service and return to Jerusalem to rebuild the wall of the city. Nehemiah became one of the great leaders of his time because he followed God’s plan for his life. Nehemiah Kids (N.K.) is ministry with a purpose (3rd-4th grade). The objective is to see boys and girls grow in their walk of faith through spiritual disciplines and ministry involvement and to support families in the process of discipling their children.

At Journey of Faith, our Nehemiah Kids meet weekly with a mentor teacher to study and memorize scripture. After their small group time, Nehemiah Kids has a ministry training time as they prepare to serve the church and the community. During the Spring 2018 semester, Nehemiah Kids and Leaders in Training will join together to form a children’s choir.
